Now I have finally finished my last paper, having sat the exam last Wed, I have time back in the weekends and evenings YAY!

So I wanted to tackle all the training courses and videos I have downloaded and purchased but not had time to look at, and this is one from Sebastian Michels of the Fine Art Grunge course that is teaching me so much about Photoshop from a creative POV

Below is the finished image, and how I created it (along with the original image) is HERE

I took the original image which is of a church in Hobart, Tasmania, when I was there in April

Bosphorus bridge
The Bosphorus Bridge is one of two suspension bridges spanning the Bosphorus strait in Istanbul, Turkey; thus connecting Europe and Asia. It is 1,560 m long with a deck width of 33.40 m. The distance between the towers (main span) is 1,074 m and the total height of the towers is 165 m. The clearance of the bridge from sea level is 64 m. When it was completed in 1973, the Bosphorus Bridge was the 4th longest suspension bridge span in the world, and the longest outside the United States. At present, it is the 22nd longest suspension bridge span in the world. The bridge was completed on 1973, one day after the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Turkey. The cost of the bridge was US$200 million ($1.06 billion in 2015 dollars). In the first four years, pedestrians could walk over the bridge, reaching it with elevators inside the towers on both sides. No pedestrians or commercial vehicles like trucks are allowed to use the bridge today. Today, around 180,000 vehicles pass daily in both directions. Since 2007, a fully computerized LED lighting system of changing colours and patterns, developed by Philips, illuminates the bridge at night.
